The Sunday jazz brunch at T.W. Food
is intimate and fashionably sedate.
But I’d prefer a pace slightly more crude,
and not to wait an hour for my plate.
That said, the dishes truly were sublime.
I savored every bite of pulled pork hash
with sourdough toast and poached egg in its prime.
I wished I could have smuggled out a stash
of biscuits, honey drizzled, butter-soft.
I also sampled fresh kielbasa, fried
in free-form patties, proudly borne aloft
by waffles, maple jus pooled alongside.
When outside air shimmers with falling snow,
this is a warm and lovely place to go.
